Planned work
A carrier for the JN5121 module is current being designed and built. The carrier is essentially a 40 pin DIP adapter with an onboard programmer.
Current projects
- Design of a robotic platform using the JN5121 microcontroller (Jose Luis / Bala Amavasai)
- Design of low-cost globally controlled robot platforms for large scale swarms (Paul Scott-Wilson / Bala Amavasai)
- Voice control over IEEE 802.14.5 (Check Kok Choong / Bala Amavasai)
- A computer controlled drawing-bot (Laura Moreton / Bala Amavasai)
- Analysis of Zigbee protocol (Graham Swift)
- Large scale Zigbee networks (Bala Amavasai / Reza Saatchi) - fully funded students are encouraged to apply for a Ph.D. position
